Managing a Business in a Recessionary Environment
Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.

Find out how to best manage your business in these tough financial times in a free seminar given by SCORE. With the economy very slowly recovering from the downturn of 2008, this seminar will provide guidelines for programs and procedures to improve sales and bottom line performance. This is a must attend seminar for those currently in business.

A Day of Health and History
Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m

The West Orange African Heritage Organization and the library celebrate Black History Month with a day of health and history including a tribute to a West Orange Civil War veteran, healthy eating tips from ShopRite's dietician, discussion of the book 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,' and a presentation by a heart transplant survivor.
