West Orange Kicks Off Christmas This Weekend

Starting Saturday, it's a weekend chock full of holiday events for the whole family.

 

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in West Orange.

This weekend begins with a full day of free family activities on Saturday, Dec. 8, hosted by the Downtown West Orange Alliance.

Start the day with holiday crafts with Ms. Rose and Ms. Joanne at the Valley Community Police Center (555 Valley Road), from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Next up is a stop at the West Orange Library for a "Reading in Winter Wonderland" at 2 p.m.

Santa will be having some milk and cookies at Supreme Bakery and be available for photos from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Trolley tours will take residents on a historic tour of West Orange. Tours will depart from the community house every half hour from 12 - 4 p.m. at 242 Main Street and will teach the history of West Orange, as told by Town Council members and Mayor Robert D. Parisi.
