Pet of the Week: Butternut the Cat

West Orange Animal Welfare League has a 2-year-old tabby up for adoption.

Are you seaching for a new addition the family — Butternut is just the candidate!

He is good with people, has a kind heart, and most importantly, loves to be scratched behind the ears. This 2-year-old tabby got his name because of his beautiful orange coloring.

He’s been to the vet, is healthy, and has been neutered. You may not live in the White House, but Butternut doesn't mind. He just wants a family and home to call his own.

To visit Butternut or any of the adoptable animals at the West Orange Animal Welfare League, come to our next adoption day, Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Alex Caprio Animal Control Facility at 311 Watchung Avenue in West Orange (behind the Thomas Edison National Historical Park).

You can also visit the facility on Monday through Friday afternoons between 4:30 to 5:30. Please call for more information at (973) 736-8689, email at woawl01@aol.com or check them out on the web at www.woawl.petfinder.org.
