On this year's list for the best views during dinner was, of course, sunny southern California beachfront eateries, a dining experience at the top of Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas but most surprisingly West Orange’s own Highlawn Pavilion.

Yes, you read right. Highlawn Pavilion has been named one of the top 100 Best Scenic View Restaurants for 2013 by OpenTable for its skyline views of New York City.

Surprised? Well, it's not just you. Huffington Post said it was one of the 12 most unexpected places on the list.

According to OpenTable, Highlawn Pavilion is a turn-of-the-century Florentine-style pavilion that has been beautifully restored to European grandeur with breathtaking views of Manhattan. Serving American Fare with European Flair.

With 134 reviews on the site, the local restaurant has garnered 4.5 stars out of five.

The list of winners was based on more than 5 million restaurant reviews for more than 15,000 restaurants across the country, its website states.
