There will be a Argyle Fish Dinner to benefit the Food Bank Network of Somerset County on Sept. 23 with two seating 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.


In a press release, they announced:



Join us for fun, fish and fellowship when Advent Lutheran Church welcomes the famous Argyle’s restaurant for an evening of fish and chips to benefit the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.Advent Lutheran Church, located at 128 Stirling Road in Warren will be hosting this free event on Sunday, September 23rd at the church. The community is welcome and in lieu of an admission fee, we ask for a generous donation either monetary or by non-perishable goods to be brought to the church that evening as part of an ongoing outreach effort to assist the food pantry all year round. 

Reservations are required for the event and there will be two seatings, one at 4:30 PM and the other at 5:30 PM. Along with the delicious Fish and Chips dinner, there will be desserts and refreshments available as well. Please note that take out is not available. 
RSVP’s must be received no later than September 14, 2012.. To RSVP please call Advent Lutheran Church. Please leave your name with the spelling, phone number and/or email address, the seating time and the number of people in your party, including any children who are 12 and under.

The event is open to the first 125 residents who RSVP. Confirmation phone calls will be made prior to the event. To RSVP or for more information, please call 908-647-2555. Parking will be available in the church parking lot and the event will be held on the ground floor of the church. No walk-ins allowed. 

Hunger never takes a break but we can all work together to help out others in the community. This event is supported by a Care in Community grant from the Central Jersey Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
