Community Update

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was a regular customer here until today, when the gas station attendant did not notice that the nozzle was broken until gallons of gas overflowed out of my tank and onto my car and the ground beneath my car. Another customer came over to shut off the nozzle before the attendant came over. I am 6 months pregnant and was afraid to get out of my car and be exposed to the fumes. The customer told the attendants to nose off my car and the ground before I turned my car on. The gas station attendant, (who wore a shirt with the name Mike) refused to pay for my car to get washed next door even though most would agree I was now in danger having to drive a car that was just hosed with gasoline. He was extremely rude to me in front of other customers, and eventually gave me $5 toward the car wash but claimed that he was "losing money" and that he "makes no money on the gas they sell" as if that matters if my car catches fire. He also accused me of "just wanting the free car wash. " I notified the fire department and police department in west orange about this matter and will not be using this gas station anymore. I would recommend that others do not use it either, as they have no concern for customer safety.
