Halloween Fun in WO Starts This Friday

                                  Halloween in WO This Friday

Halloween may not be until Thursday, October 31st but the holiday fun starts in West Orange this Friday.  Mayor Robert D. Parisi invites all our young families to attend the West Orange Rec Department’s annual Halloween event scheduled - rain or shine - for Friday, October 25th.  It will be held at Liberty Middle School beginning at 6:00 PM sharp.  Festivities will kick off in the school auditorium with the Goblin Parade.  Prizes will be awarded for the best costume in various age groups ranging from toddlers thru the fifth grade.  A special adult division is also included.  The Goblin Parade is free to residents.

After the contest the West Orange Rec Dept. and the West Orange Rotary Club will be teaming up to sponsor a Pumpkin Patch & Game Zone on the school grounds beginning at 7:00 PM.  General Admission is $2.   It will include a free pumpkin and materials will be provided if the kids wish to decorate the pumpkins before taking them home.  There will be a lot of fun games and other activities including guessing contests and the very special “water balloon target shoot”.
