WEEKEND UPDATE FROM WO REC

WEEKEND UPDATE FROM WO REC

The Super Storm: The Rec office was shut down for the better part of the week with no power, heat, phone, etc.  We are up and running now at full capacity and staffing. On Monday, November 5th we pulled together a last minute Halloween event for our beleaguered residents. Well over 250 people enjoyed a movie marathon and a turkey dinner. You can view some pictures from the event via the following URL.

Travel & In House Basketball: The turnout for Travel Basketball Tryouts
was the highest in years. While we would love to take everyone - that is not
possible. Player notifications should be completed by no later than Monday -
the storm has delayed the notification process.  Players not chosen still have
time to register for the In House Basketball Program. The registration is
available on the Rec Website and it has been extended to November 18th.

Elks Hoop Shoot:  The storm delayed this annual one night shooting contest.  Stay tuned for updated time & place.
