Roman Holiday

Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck light up the screen in the 1953 Academy Award-winning film, Roman Holiday.  Dr. Cathleen Londino will introduce a free screening of this classic romantic comedy at the Library.  Hepburn plays the part of a princess who slips away from her royal duties to explore Rome on her own. While incognito, she has a marvelous adventure with an American journalist. The film was directed by legendary movie-maker William Wyler. Roman Holiday received an impressive ten Academy Award nominations and won four Oscars. Join us on this “trip” to Rome - you may just forget you’re at the West Orange Library.  Dr. Londino is a professor of film history at Kean University. Advance registration is recommended.
