'American Moor' Presented at Luna Stage for One Night Only

The show will take place Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Keith Hamilton Cobb -- best known for roles in "All My Children," "The Young and the Restless" and "Andromeda" -- is giving audiences a deeper look inside race issues, America and a bit of Shakespeare's "Othello" for a limited time only.

The Luna Stage presents "American Moor," Cobb's very own piece, Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at its stages located at 555 Valley Road in West Orange.

In this original production, Cobb uses the entertainment industry as landscape for the discussion of race in America and a reflection of his life in the industry.

Cobb is a graduate of Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and his resume features numerous Shakespearean plays from "Hamlet" to "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and appearances on television programs such as "CSI Miami" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

The performance of "American Moor" is one-night only. Tickets are $20.

For more information and tickets, interested persons may visit the Luna Stage website or call 973-395-5551. The line is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
