Presbyterian Church Offering Daytime Shelter

West Orange residents invited to charge small electronics, use restrooms and get warm at 471 Pleasant Valley Way.

The following is a letter from the Pleasantdale Presbyterian Church:

“Due to continuing difficulties in the storm relief efforts, Pleasantdale Church has made their facilities open to the Township. 

People will be welcome to go to the Church building and Fellowship Hall to get warm, to charge small electronics, and to use the restrooms.

This opportunity is being extended to the entire community on Saturday (11/3) from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

On Sunday morning (11/4), the Church will have worship at 10:45.

All are welcome to come and bring anyone who needs to get out of their cold homes.  Please bring food to eat and food to give away - both food that is ready to eat and non-perishables.

After the service food will be shared and there will be opportunities for prayer for adults and movies for the kids and families.

The church is located at 471 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange ( at the corner of Eagle Rock Avenue across from West Orange High School).

Please do not bring pets to this location.”
