Christmas Arrives in West Orange

The Christmas Tree is lit in front of town hall.

West Orange residents came together on Friday to celebrate the holidays by participating in the annual Christmas Tree lighting.

Kids were able to hang out with goats, sheep and a pony at the holiday petting zoo.  Hot chocolate and cookies were provided by Pal's Cabin and Shoprite and the event even included a Kwanzaa Booth.

Mayor Robert Parisi and the West Orange Recreation Department welcomed residents to the lighting.  There were musical and dance performances, followed by a visit from Santa Claus himself.
