One top prize, Best in Show, will offer an artist the opportunity for a one-person exhibition at the Firehouse Galley in the 2014-15 season.

"The new Open Orange juried exhibition continues our initiative to serve artists and feature the best of the arts from our community and the surrounding region," said Richard Bryant, executive director of ValleyArts. "The Firehouse Gallery, a beautiful space which opened just last year, has already proved to be a popular venue. Our plan for this exhibition is that it will continue to spread the word about the burgeoning arts community in Orange and West Orange, sparking even more interactivity and interconnection with artists throughout New Jersey and the greater metropolitan area."
