Seton Hall University Spring Series Delivers Valuable Workshops for Everyone From Job Seekers to Truth Seekers!

Seton Hall University’s Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies is offering workshops and certificates this spring that target job seekers and business owners alike, as well as those who are passionate about lifelong learning.  Courses in marketing, technology, social media, productivity apps, and how to get hired, will appeal to the most seasoned PR professional, the small business owner, as well as the curious and inquisitive. The Marketing and Public Relations Certificate series is ideal for those who want to advance their business or need help ramping up their marketing and PR skills.  Participants can take all three workshops in Branding and Marketing or PR and Communications tracks and obtain a certificate, or just take the workshops that they respond to most.   Through these classes, users will create a personalized marketing plan, learn how to define their brand, set themselves apart from the competition, and discover how to write for their website or social media with clarity and confidence.  We all know that the world of technology advances quickly.  Social Media: Building and Marketing a Successful Campaign (Advanced) is designed for folks who have already completed Seton Hall’s Certificate in Social Media or those who consider themselves experienced users.  Participants can attain a certificate and learn to utilize social media to create a marketing campaign.  And there’s more.  For those seeking a new job and need help perfecting a resume, honing their interview skills, and gaining knowledge of how to use social media in a job search, there’s the Get Hired Workshop, a half-day program with all sessions taught by experienced Seton Hall University Career Center professionals who have spent years recruiting in the corporate world. The newest workshop, Need Productivity? There’s an App for That!  takes participants beyond using their devices for entertainment to showing them how to use mobile apps to create, collaborate, and increase productivity at home and at work.   According to the workshop developer and instructor, Danielle Mirliss, Ed.D., the workshop places particular emphasis on cloud-based productivity apps.  Apps are convenient, fun, and highly beneficial, however, most people lack the time to research them.  This workshop takes the difficulty out of that. All workshops are held at Seton Hall University, 400 South Orange Ave., South Orange, NJ 07079. Special discounts may apply for returning Continuing Ed & Professional Studies students!
