Seminar for religious renewal

Life in the Spirit Seminar schedule announced

Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, West Orange, NJ, will be hosting a free seven part seminar series for Catholic renewal, growth, and rebirth.

“You don’t have to be Catholic to attend,” said Deacon Pedro Repollet, who is coordinating the series, “but you need to be open to receiving the Holy Spirit in your life and have a desire to deepen your prayer life, and relationship with Jesus Christ.”

The series begins September 20; two sessions will be held starting 7 pm. “In the first session, we will examine God’s love and how to truly experience His everlasting love. In the second session we will look at how God frees us from darkness and leads us to salvation,” Repollet explained. Subsequent seminars are on September 27, October 4, and October 5. Two sessions will be held each evening with the exception of October 4, which will feature one session. “Come to one, come to a couple, or come to all,” Repollet said. “We have experienced, outstanding, and dedicated priests and lay people of the archdiocese conducting the sessions. You will walk away with new found spiritual strength and devotion.”

While the seminars are free, a nominal fee of $5 will be charged for a light supper. Participants are asked to arrive at 6:30 pm for registration.
