Alaris Health at Saint Mary’s Hosts Community Breakfast for Seniors

Alaris Health at Saint Mary’s recently hosted a Senior Community Breakfast complete with pancakes and discussion on topics of interest to the senior population.

Lisa Olender, Director of Physician Integration for the Post Acute Division of Saint Barnabas at Barnabas Health, and Jersey Home Health, gave a talk on post acute care for the senior community.  At the event, she was pleased to meet resident Lauerence Smith, who was born at the original Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Newark in 1932.

A short discussion was also given by Alaris Health on the topic of post acute services and their benefit to seniors.

“Seniors today are living longer than ever, and they benefit from the kind of comprehensive post acute care that we can provide after hospitalizations,” says Roy Santos, Administrator.
