The Legislature and Elections in New Jersery

Yesterday all one hundred and twenty members of the New Jersey State Legislature were elected. Almost every incumbent won. In the period between the election of November 2011 when all of the legislature was elected and yesterday's election certain members of the legislate left because of the adjudication of criminal matters. Thus, the trend continues. The trend being that a member of the New Jersey State Senate or New Jersey State Assembly is more likely to leave his or her office to please guilty or be found guilty of a crime than because the voters became dissatisfied with what what he or she was doing in Trenton. New Jersey government is lousy. We are over regulated and over taxed. Our business climate is horrible. Unemployment is high. Public infrastructure is in bad repair. Thus it baffles me as why these individuals were returned to office. Until the citizen take charge and but new people in place things will not change. Please think about this. The Assembly is up in November 2015 and both the Senate and the Assembly is up in 2017.
