Understanding the Affordable Care Act with guest speakers Dr. Lisa Lieberman of Montclair State University and Dawn Diamond

November 14th at 8 pm at Pleasantdale Elementary School

Guest Speaker Dr. Lisa Lieberman is on the faculty in the Department of Health andNutrition Sciences at Montclair State University. She teaches a variety of graduate courses in the department's Master of Public Health program, including "Health Policy and Politics”. Dr. Lieberman has spent her career improving maternal and child health, and reducing adolescent health risks. Throughout her work, she has been an advocate for affordable, accessible health care. Dr. Lieberman is passionate about helping people understand what the Affordable Care Act means for their families.

Dawn Diamond, MPH, is a recent graduate of the MSU Master of Public Health program and the Founder and Director of the Alliance for Integrated Healthcare and the NJ Center for Healthy Living in Montclair.

The Pleasantdale School campus is located in a pleasant community in West Orange, and is situated just across from West Orange High School.

Principal Joanne Pollara, along with the rest of the faculty at the school, strive to provide excellence in all that they do. They work hard to meet the goals of establishing a basis for lifelong learning.

Class levels at the school range from kindergarten to fifth grade.  There is also a preschool program available for younger children, which includes an Pre-K library program to get kids reading early.
