Guest speaker Lee Behlman will explore the themes of social justice and national renewal in the prophetic books of the Hebrew bible, and discuss linkages with the rhetoric of the U.S. civil rights movement.
Hosted by progressive Jewish scholar and author Bennett Muraskin, this free monthly adult education session of the Jewish Cultural School & Society (JCSS) is open to all.

More About Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC
Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC is a community fitness center with free weights, treadmills, stair climbers, ellipticals and group exercise studios. There's also an aquatics center and pool, a gymnasium and a theater. Kids' and teen group exercise programs are offered here; for small children there's a child care area. The center hosts summer camp, health and wellness programs and athletic events like dance-a-thons and triathlons.
