      ThePresbyterian Church of Livingston will hold its monthly Family Movie Night on Friday, November 9, in the Ackerman Center. There will be a Thanksgiving
potluck dinner followed by an age appropriate movie. The evening begins at 7:00p.

      On Saturday, November 10, volunteers are
needed to help with the monthly soup kitchen in inner city Newark."There are many clothes to hang on clothes
racks, set-up and clean-up, and, of course, serving a hot meal to our guests," says Pastor Daniel Martian. If you would like to participate, please meet at the church at 10:30a. to car pool.

     On Sunday, November 11, there will be recognition of veterans during the 10:30a. worship service.  The service will include presenting veterans with a small token of our gratitude for their service to our country as well as
singing of the Navy Hymn, Eternal Father, Strong to Save.

The Presbyterian Church of Livingston prides itself on being a contemporary church for "real-life people who face real-life problems." Sermons cover topical subjects and all ages are welcome at Sunday worship, which includes a "Children's Chat" with the pastor. Fellowship opportunities include a Senior Gathering. The church  is led by Rev. Daniel L. Martian, who is also the 2009-2010 president of the Livingston Clergy Association Board.

The church's local missions include participation in the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW), senior citizen outreach, Bibles for the homeless and regular donations of food and clothing to needy people in the area. Christian education opportunities include Bible study for children and adult enrichment classes.
