Katz Civic Center is a part of the West Orange recreation department. This center is located in the Degnan Memorial Park and houses two rooms that are available for public use for private party booking. The space is typically booked for birthday parties, family parties and wedding showers, as well as a variety of related events. The Lake Room holds a maximum capacity of 110 people and features an outdoor patio with three picnic tables. The smaller Skate Room has a maximum capacity of 40 people. The facility is dedicated to Toby Katz, who served the Township of West Orange as a councilwoman.
