Delight Your Family with Free Concert “Byts and Pieces”
Bring the kids to hear the New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra (NJIO), whose musicians range in age from 7 to 87, as they present their Annual Family Concert on Sunday, November 18, 2012, 3:00 PM at Summit High School. Guest Conductor Karen Pinoci will lead the Symphony Orchestra featuring 15 year old guest soloist Soyeong Park, and Conductor Gavin Davies will lead the Intermezzo Orchestra in a program of popular favorites. A fun and interactive “Instrument Petting Zoo” will allow young audience members to try a variety of musical instruments. Admission is free.
This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and by funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
