Rosh Chodesh Dinner Recap
On Saturday, Jan. 12, the tables were set, the lights were dim, and the ambiance was warm and inviting for the Rosh Chodesh Dinner.
Upon their arrival, women were greeted with a personalized student book and bookmark with all future program dates listed.
The tables were elegantly decorated and tea lights lit the dimmed room, properly befitting the delicious cuisine.
The program began with a welcome from dinner chair and emcee Doni Landy. She spoke about the meaning of Rosh Chodesh and why it is special for women.
Elizabeth Rosenkrantz, president of Chabad West Orange, explained how important the Rosh Chodesh Society is for our community.
The video presentation gave us a look at the tremendous impact the Rosh Chodesh Society has had on others and why it is important for women to get together and inspire each other.
Lesson 1, The Kabbalah of Sleep was eloquently delivered by Altie Kasowitz, who taught how much sleep affects our lives and what kabbalah explains about the importance of it.
The next women’s Rosh Chodesh Society program is on Sunday, Feb. 10.
