Tony Nominee Performs at West Orange Library
Frankie Faison performed a scene from Luna Stage's new play, Reparation
Luna Stage hosted a special performance at the West Orange Public Library Feb. 2 featuring Tony nominee Frankie Faison.
Faison performed a scene from Luna's new play, Reparation, prior to opening night.
Reparation weaves an intricate tale about an investment banker who finds himself at a cross roads when he realizes playing the race card doesn't pan out the way he thought it would. The play premiered this month at Luna.
Fason is known for his work on Fences, Gods & Generals, The Wire, and Silence of the Lambs.
Director Jane Mandell moderated a discussion and playwright Gino Dilorio answered questions from the public.
The event was part of a new partnership between Luna and the library.

I'm glad I attended this event with my tweens. It was a robust discussion amongst everyone about the play and reparations. The scene performed by Mr. Faison was the icing on the cake. Just beautiful.
