Presidents' Day: What's Open, What's Closed?

Monday, Feb. 18 is Presidents’ Day, a national holiday marking the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Both state and federal offices are closed.
• Financial and stock markets are closed.
• State and local government offices and courts will be closed.
• Banks and public schools are closed.
• Post offices will be closed; there will be no regular mail delivery.
• Financial and stock markets are closed.
•  New Jersey Transit will operate on an enhanced weekend rail schedule with additional trains on the Montclair-Booton Line during morning and afternoon peak periods. Bus schedules vary by route. For details, refer to timetables or check the agency’s website at www.njtransit.com, or call (973) 275-5555.
•  PATH trains will be operating on a Saturday schedule.
