Poppy's Bagels Tops Poll in West Orange
They have not just bagels, but also soups and salads.
Chewy and delicious, bagels abound all over the Garden State. But in West Orange, one bagel place won by a huge margin in our Readers' Choice poll this week.
Poppy's Bagels on Mount Pleasant Avenue was far and away residents' favorite bagel shop in the surrounding area.
During a busy morning rush, Jacob Geffner, a manager at Poppy's, said he was pleased with the honor.
"We love our customers and we try to show it," he said on why people come.
Poppy's churns out the usual bagel sandwich staples such as lox and tuna salad, but they also offer salads, pizza, wraps, hearty sandwiches, fish entrees, and chocolate chip cookies. It's possible to nosh at Poppy's for every meal.

I don't know who you were talking to in West Orange but we like the Bagel Box. Besides having great bagels, the staff is also friendly. The people at Poppy's are not friendly and you feel like they are doing you a favor to wait on you.

The best thing about Poppy's is that all products are kosher. That can't be said about any other bagel shop in West Orange. For the kosher consumer, and there are many in West Orange, Poppy's is the place to go.
