Historicans Have a Fright at Hat City

The Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park invite you to get into the Halloween spirit

Boo! Not scared yet? Then try this:

The The Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park invite you to get
into the Halloween spirit with a viewing of the first motion picture
adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The film will be shown at Hat City Kitchen at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 28.

Tom Meyers, Executive Director of the Fort Lee Film Commission, and John Columbus, Founder and Director of the Black Maria
Film Festiva
l, will introduce the film and lead a discussion following the
screening. The, 15-minute Frankenstein, released by the Edison Company in 1910, was believed lost to posterity until a single print was discovered in the
mid-70s. Seeing the film is a rare and seasonally-suitable opportunity!
