VIDEO: 'Empty Bowls' Aims to Stop Hunger Right Here at Home
High school students host fundraiser to raise money for the West Orange Food Pantry
West Orange High School hosted an "Empty Bowls" fundraiser Thursday aftertoon to raise money for the local West Orange Food Pantry.
Students created ceramic bowls with art teacher April Clark. The bowls were on display at the Tarnoff Cafeteria.
Guests donated $10 for a free bowl of soup, some bread and were able to take a ceramic bowl home.
Clark said roughly 40 kids participated this year.
