NJJFF extra! presented by the New Jersey Jewish Film Festival will feature A Bottle in the Gaza Sea on Saturday, December 1, 7:30pm, at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange.
Tal is a 17 year old French girl living in Jerusalem. After witnessing a terrorist bombing in a local café, she slips a letter of peace in a bottle and has it thrown into the sea near Gaza. She soon receives a response from a young Palestinian, Naïm. Through email exchanges, they develop a virtual friendship.
